Details

Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær was inspired by ancient Etruscan pottery and Umbrian craft traditions in designing the striking Ikiperu Pyx, a lidded ceramic box named for an Etruscan goddess. Bold color blocking and shifts in texture define Melvær’s contemporary interpretation of this ecclesiastical form. The handmade lidded box combines glazed and unglazed ceramic for both visual and tactile beauty and is finished with a thin leather strap handle. The perfect home for your most valued treasures and trinkets. Made for Poltrona Frau in Italy.
