Details

Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær was inspired by ancient Etruscan amphoras and Umbrian craft traditions in designing the striking and statuesque Ikiperu Vase, named for an Etruscan goddess. Bold bands of color and shifts in texture define Melvær’s contemporary interpretation of this timeless form from antiquity. The handmade vase combines glazed and unglazed ceramic for both visual and tactile beauty. Made for Poltrona Frau in Italy.
